in Togo in Hungary

Dearest AIESEC,

I have been in about two weeks back to Germany. My Internship Development has taken me six weeks of Hungary. 'Why Hungary? "I have heard in this time very very often. I know even less wirklich.Es was in fact not me, who have actively looked for this location. Maybe it was Laszlo of the LC of Veszprem, who has written me convinced hat.Mir always like a mantra, images sent from Lake Balaton, the internship has described in such detail, Hungary has solicited and that I had promised. I landed in Balatonfüred Lake Balaton.

As the Hungarians Laszlo are very proud of himself.
I've always thought that Hungary was a typical country of Sowjetuntion under the thumb, and now most largely oriented towards the EU. Nix the. Hungary for me was like an exotic island, which, when considered alone, the language differs so markedly from the rest of Central and Eastern Europe. Not sure anpasst.Meine expectations were thrown overboard first vigorously.

In Hungary everything is a bit more messy. What is broken is broken. Just as Germany is not everything shines. But that's not bad, and sometimes quite the opposite: there the many small villages its certain charm. Thatched roofs, narrow streets, huge markets and goulash meets ugly Sowjetbauten.Ganz many people have horses. A coach can be seen often. Even for native speakers of Hungarian is very committed a major challenge. So much Ö's and 'chz', that bring the Hungarians only smile when trying to pronounce the words, often with more than 20 letters. Köszönöm alone, which goes something like Thank you, come on hard on the lips. The Hungarians also use a few familiar words quite different. For example, they say "hello" and go and one is left clueless back. And they are proud of their food: pasta with poppy seeds, fish soup and Palatschinken.Gulasch is probably the most typical. And everything must be tried.

But of all this has done to me this tradition, rootedness most. I have been to many festivals, where people still wear their old really colorful costumes. Leaving is different than in Germany. It sits in a quaint Restraurant, in the dried peppers hanging from the ceiling, fall invisible borders between the tables, the Gypsies work spoon as musical instruments, all drink a mixture of dance from Coke and wine, each other, whether they know it or not According to Hungarian folk songs and sing.

My job in the whole time it was to teach at a high school German, and to relate that to regional studies of Germany. Before that was the name
Description for me as much as a support class, a little something to tell repays to have a great impression.
At first I was with my young 20 years and without any teacher training, even as a teacher - Mrs presented.
middle of it I was alone about 25 hours per week with students who were often older than myself. And yet I was in the design of teaching left completely free hand. Only the subjects for high school, who were known to me. I was amazed how much responsibility was left to me. A lot of interaction, lots of role playing, lots and lots of discussions about Germany just shy students often speak to the inhibition German to take. And it has funktiniert. The students are busy and happy times other issues as the eternal series of environmental protection, food, sports, parties, etc.. presented to get. The most popular theme par excellence: the Oktoberfest.

The teaching staff was present eyed me skeptically, but warmly received, repeatedly asked in broken German, as I am. This is not unusual. In Hungary really are all very friendly and hilfsbereit.Der guest is king. Even when I went to Hungary and I have moved x times, a good-natured man helped me. Although he did not understand me, he understands that I am with my orientation completely wrong, I was at the right station brought my huge bags - high drags against my will, groaning stairs, which I was really touched. The good thing was 85th

The LC was there still at a nascent and the people involved accordingly all all allow. I was absolutely thrilled with the program they have set for me, although I often was not so tired:) So many museums, concerts, zoos, art exhibitions and monuments I've never seen before.

The six weeks were all in all, definitely a whole package of valuable experiences. I am in the short time traveled across the country, including with Budapest and Vienna. At some point I'll
travel times to go again, perhaps to the wine days. Then the Hungarians are in fact also quite proud:) Salut encore une fois
